Movie critics are total losers.

They've never made a film themselves – just know how to tell others what they did wrong.

The glorious thing is they're cowardly words are now being recognized by the mass of people who agree with one thing: Most movie critics are shallow, worthless humans with huge ego problems.

Review is right on, just saw the the movie 30 mins ago, and the general consensus after is, less talk more ships.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I honestly didn't go to see this movie for the acting, I'm there to see the ships. After the first 15 mins of the movie I thought I walk in the wrong theater. I didn't see the first "Destroyer" until almost an hour in the movie.

This movie leaves me in wanting at the end, I want more ships in action.

I'll give this to the movie, I'm craving Chicken Burritos now.

It is boring indeed, and very fiction. Meanwhile Peter Berg is a good director also. At the same time I noticed the small supporting actor named Jess something, who also starred with Kevin Spacey in Shrink together, bit impressed me.

Perd Hapley or Jay Jackson to his mother has played a news reporter/news anchor in basically every tv series of films he has been in, which must mean that Battleship, Dexter, Fast Five, The Mentalist and Parks & Recreation are either all set in the same universe as you say or Jay's got a pity blah agent and one dimensional headshot portfolio.

Who could hate Transformers 4, (i.e. Battleship)?! It's not reasonable. It's like saying, "I hate beer!" Also RED was highly enjoyable despite direction and cinematography that made it look like a TV movie of the week. Thumbs up to the Hoeber brothers (siblings? spouses? I make no assumptions since the Wachowskis thing happend).
