(Even though there are a few other incidents featuring Alma exploring her sexual feelings, I didn't mention them because it would be nice to leave some surprises for people who haven't seen the movie, ok? No need to point out to me that there's a little more to it. But nothing that that qualifies as sex-crazed to me. It's not important. Just a phrase. But it's not really helpful to brand Alma as something worse than she is. I thought that was part of the lesson of the film, right?)
