Relax about the editing, people. Substantively the critic is spot on and one wonders if Burton even cares about inner character of his actors. It is a sign of our autistic times that so much attention is paid to the superficial and so little to the content, which in this case is absolutely abysmal. Sort of like 1960s I guess. Boomers may like it though 😉

The textual errors are too complex to be mere typos. What we seem to have is a film critic who is either utterly careless or borderline illiterate.

It was a poorly written, poorly edited review of smear-job story. Walter Keane was a talented, charismatic, very generous man. He was an artist before he married Margaret and continued to paint after they were divorced.

It was very difficult to read this review with all the typos. It\’s bad enough for the reviewer to make these mistakes but the editor missed them as well?
