The tense moments, the developing of the story were just marvelously handled by Thomas Vinterberg and the acting of Mads Mikkelsen was one of the top 3 (alongside Denis Lavant's in Holy Motors and DDL's in Lincoln) performances of 2012. The only movie that i can remember and recommend for anyone who liked this film is William Wyler's "Children's Hour" with Audrey Hepburn, Shirley MacLaine and James Garner. Anyway, great review J.K.
