This movie deserves an A score not a C, by a long shot. Unless, you don't like this particular type of humour or stars then this movie will not be for you from the start.

Mark my words, an instant classic and laugh out loud moments, to keep most people with a sense of humour happy. Franco was simply brilliant, Danny McBride was just outstanding, the cameo of Cera was just wow, basically all the core gang had amazing chemistry together. Plus, the ending of the movie was pure genius.

Rogen and Goldberg did an amazing job of making this movie work as first time directors and it's the best comedy in years, I repeat years.

I suggest people make up their own minds themselves and go watch, you will not be disappointed.

@ CHRIS, I also agree with everything you said, but remember this site is very selective.

Anyway, this movie in my book is an A, should do very well at the box office.

Your Seth Rogen premise is false, and ignores both the distinct differences between his performances in "Knocked Up," "Pineapple Express," "Superbad" and "Funny People," as well as his very different performances in "Observe and Report" and "Take This Waltz." Also, I find it kind of funny how some people are repeatedly blamed for often (or always) playing variations of one persona (Rogen, Michael Cera, Bruce Willis, etc) while others get a pass for doing the same thing (Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford, etc). Never understood it.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. This is one of the funnies films ever made. I saw it a couple seems ago and I've never heard so much hysterical laughing ever at the movies. Every single person loved it. If you like the actors, there is no doubt in my mind that you won't be loving it as much as the crowd that I saw it with. The 5 other people I went and many of the people I have spoken to that have also seen it agreed that it was one of the funniest movies they've ever seen. Great stuff, guys. I think this movie could be huge.

Don't waste your money. I thought the story idea was good but you need to have an IQ below 50 to enjoy this movie. I did laugh out loud at a few parts. However, the same bathroom humor sinks this movie into the toilet.

I don't mind Judd Apatow spawn performing self-love on screen. But they should be paying us. Rogen invented cute-instead-of-funny comedy, by being the same formless unfunny human teddy bear since day 1. Apatow invented a sort of post-narcissism that has made comedy so unfunny, scientists should be studying it. All I ask is that movie goers over the age of 12 get paid damages in a class action settlement of sorts for lowering our standards, and taking up theater space.

Incorrect. I saw a sneak preview of this a month back, and it is the comedy of the year. Me and the whole audience were howling with laughter. It may not be your cup of tea (its raunchy and ridiculous), but if you liked pineapple express, 21 jump street and eastbound, you will love this. The Internship was watchable but lame. The Way Way back was great (in the same vein as little miss sunshine). Aside from being fxcing hilarious, I predict This is the End with be huge at the box office. Ill probably go and pay to see it again, and I dont typically watch movies twice.
