You'll probably knock me in the head for saying it but I liked this film a lot. So did the people in the audience. They laughed out loud and even clapped. People had fun in a theater for a change instead of turning into an art school project. Plus it came out around tax day which was great because it took a lot of pressure off. It was good to laugh out loud and it felt good having fun. Im not going to apologize to you for that. For what its worth Im seeing it again today.

i find it outrageously offensive because the Stooges were quintessential yiddish speaking Jews not Catholics. who wrote the screenplay Mel Gibson? Is it possible the Farrelley didn't notice the Yiddishisns and Jewish/WASP kulturkamph of the real Stooges?
OK maybe the obvious shibboleths like them greeting the kingmakers in You Nazty Spy with "shalom Aleichem" went over their heads, Or Moe's Hitler speaking Yiddish to the mob, or the Chinese Yiddish speaking Larry passed them by. But in doing their research they should've found out. There were many inside jokes that made them more than simple slapstick. THis is the worst Hollywood gentilization of quintessentially Jewish characters since "Eyes Wide Shut"
