I just watched the movie and I thought the acting was exceptional. It is science fiction and the goal is to both tell a story ad entertain, and it does both quite astutely. Amidst the vast slew of science fiction genre which is made and too often relies on special effects, this was a breath of fresh air and original.

Thanks for your comment Daniel. I appreciate your opinion and it was certainly not my intention to be deceptive. I don\'t see how I am putting the film in "an indie box," please feel free to elaborate on your initial point.

The acting could have been a little more... Well acted... But I have to disagree with the part that Thwaites is unconvincing in his "agitated intelligence". That was honestly his best acting in the whole movie while the worst had to be the break up scene, though well written and relateable it made the relationship seem like it lacked passion. The writer of this article seriously understates how creepy this movie is! The realizations that nic has are completely mind-blowing and unexpected! Only after he gains his power does everything start to come together and even then I could only speculate what was happening until its completely revealed (much like the characters in the movie). Overall, this is one of the best sci fi films to come out in a long time. It\'s Terence Malik meets Stanley Kubrick, minus Malik\'s trademark confusion and emotionless, movie long whispering. To put it in an indie box and say that it didnt live up to those expectations is an insult to everyone who worked on this film, shows the author of this articles small mindlessness and downright deceptive. WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!
