Some great songs on the Undercover album have always been wayyy under-rated -- She Was Hot, The Pain of Love, All the Way Down, Feel On Baby, the title track ...
It's so trendy to sniff that the Stones have not put out any good new music since Some Girls.
Ridiculous. Emotional Rescue and Tatoo You have lots of very good songs on them.
The Steel Wheels album has some very good songs, as do the two '90's albums (maybe not many, but why deprive yourself by rejecting good stuff? Because rejecting things makes you feel powerful?). Rain Fall Down (2005) is great. So is Don't Stop (2002).

Sneering dismissively at the Stones' 'new' output has always been a cheap tactic for journalists and other unhappy people to proclaim how cool & hip they are -- often just empty posturing.

Comparing the Stones new stuff to their old stuff is misguided. Do you listen to more than one song at the same time? The only relevant question is 'Do I like this new song enough to listen to it again and again? Do I enjoy it more than other songs I could listen to now instead?'

Any person's capacity for appreciation is also his capacity to live his life joyfully.
Going through life sneering disdainfully impoverishes the person who chooses to do that, far more than it rewards him by attracting good company to appreciate him (one of the motivations to do it).
