FYI, Kevin (and any other critics out there), if I see the word 'towering' in your review (especially accompanied by the word 'achievement') it shows you are a cheap hack, full of promiscuous hyperbole.

The reviews are much weaker than I was expecting. The reception is very similar to STOKER. Started off strong, but has dropped so quickly and so far that NOW you know why it's only a March release.

I didn't like this at all. Evvery scene is heavy handed and shoved your throat it just becomes cheesy. I didn't care about any of the characters either. It drags on and on to the most predictable places (go figure).

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Worst American film of the year (so far). Sure, the year is still young, but it'll take a monumental turd to beat this misguided and monstrous 'garbage plate.'

It seems The Playlist is one of the few sites that gave the film an A, but they also gave Blue Valentine an A+ (which it completely deserved).

Great review, I'm surprised at how mediocre most reviews are for this film in the US, I really loved it.
