The movie is not for everyone, but it shows that irony and detachment are a very poor way to tackle life. It\’s not enjoyable, but you will learn something by watching it.

Did this critic received money from the producers of this trite, boring and pretentious catatonic snail of a movie? When he states that the lead is funny, is he talking about one of the cans of beer, or any other prop used, which were a thousand times more charismatic than the slug "lead" actor? When he says "… piercing critique of extended adolescence and rejection of obligation", is he talking about his own rejection of obligation to actually discuss the movie he is supposed to be reviewing instead of an imaginary movie only he can see? Is Mr. Bell a hipster himself trying to be ironic here? Has the definition of "compelling" suddenly change to the exact opposite of its former significance?

I sure hope so, otherwise Mr. Bell might need to go see a neurologist. This movie is akin to watching the ceiling for two hours at the dentist while receiving a root canal.
