Maybe it's just me, but if you are going to critique movies for a living, you should master English grammar first. I didn't read the whole article, because of a low tolorance for ignorance, but the final paragraph has a few errors in it so please take note. The correct punctuation would be "onscreen; however, as" and "chit-chat; facially, they". If you can't do your job correctly, find another line of work.
