May is Borderline Personality awareness month. If you ever have shared your roof with a Borderline, then you will see some parallels. Kind of a nod towards those who suffer from BPD either directly or as second hand smoke. Lots of blaming and senf defeat, for sure. The comedy format to liften the poor spouses and and children and relatives of that 1% that Tammy represents.

Melissa Mccarthy is not a STAR. This woman has ruined the television show Mike & Molly: she took the reins and made it ALL Mooly.
Swoozie Kurtz and Katie mixon plus Swoozie's boyfriend give the show it's funne moments. Plus Mike's mother. Melissa should LEAVE.
This movie is another example. She co-wrote it with her husband. fat girl screeching and pratfalls do not make a real star. fat has nothing to do with it. She is a "one -trick pony. Frankly her characters she plays are now irritating. There was a time that she was likeable.

So now we've gone from complaining that trailers reveal too much about a movie to complaining they don't reveal enough. It might be as bad as you say, but your case in unconvincing and kind of axe-grindey.

Hopefully this indicates a decline in McCarthy's career. Her performances are always insufferable.
