That showing this breed of American Man thru that lens maybe was itself purposeful? I only liked the film a little more than you but it seemed clear to me the sexism thing was pushed on purpose because duh, that\’s who these dudes are – the culture of masculinity was part of what was being placed under the microscope by the movie. It starts out being a pretty serious Brah Movie and then the second half is all about breaking those bonds.
