I just found out about his remake. I have a weekly contest with a few of my coworkers from DISH, to see who can find the best/worst movies of the week, and this week is a holiday edition. I was thinking about getting the original Silent Night, Deadly Night, but I just saw that my DISH Blockbuster @Home rental service had the remake available. I just added it to my queue, and Blockbuster ships very quickly, so I should have it just in time for this weekend's viewing party. I am sure we will enjoy it more than you have, but we don't have any preconceived bias against the sub genre.
