The American version released online and to nextflix and sold on DVD is not the French version. The Netflix version does read 'not rated' but it's not the French version. the French version shows actual penetration and erections. Even the scene when Romaine is in the shower shows pubic hair and a hand to block him. The French version just shows his penis hanging down. The American version shows him having a girl putting a condom on him, the French version shows him fully erect with the condom on.

Some of the sex may be 'real' but there's also scenes that are clearly stimulated; even though the acrobatics may seem realistic there are points where you can clearly see that Point A isn't connected to Point B. I completely disagree with the reviewer about the bisexuality element; what a breath of fresh air it was to see a male character in a movie be bisexual without it meaning something else, or leading to arguments and histrionics. I thought it was blatant that he was bisexual during his threesomes, and I haven't seen many movies with bisexual male characters who are happy and comfortable with their sexuality and whose sexuality isn't the focus of the plot. He was just a bi guy. End of story.

If you actually watch the film closely, you will notice that it's the video of virginal son jerking off in class that is the real catalyst for the family being able to start talking about sex. This review states that the catalyst is the video of the young girl, which isn't true.

You're clearly clueless about everything apart from what you watched on the film (theatrical version). The sex scenes are unsimulated. Romain actually has sex with the girl, the actors actually do the real thing. You'd think someone taking the time to review the movie would have that minor detail in mind. You should stop doing reviews. This is like a fat guy teaching in a weight loss program. You don't know enough to be reviewing movies; period.
