Have to agree with Abner, Hardwicke\’s a lousy filmmaker. Hell, once you get past the \”shocking\” subject matter, Thirteen is a pretty lousy movie too.

I don\’t know if she\’s a hack. I do agree that action is not her strong suit, but the film does look gorgeous in terms of color (not in terms of how beautiful Seyfried is). I just hope there aren\’t any more of those unnecessary sweeping camera movements where you couldn\’t even see the actors like in \”Twilight.\” I guess I\’ll judge when I see it this weekend.

If it means anything, I would have gone a full grade lower on this. Thought it was pretty terrible though Brian Reitzell\’s score is really good and deserved a much better movie than this.
