Anyone interested in similar type stories check out Castle Freeman Jr. book "Go with me". I would love to see this adapted by a Hillcoat type.

But as was pointed out, this pretty much has no money behind it so even Lawrence is a longshot unless it really builds steam.

But they also had Lionsgate behind them. This release is likely too small.

Lawrence only has Oscar hopes now. As the year progresses that may change. Oscar predix early are pretty dumb as evinced by the Oscar sites that predict things now and that inevitably change.
