The writing for this show…holy crap is it bad. It\’s overwrought and melodramatic to the extreme. It\’s obvious Nic Pizzolato thinks he\’s some gun-slinging cowboy of writing, but he\’s coming across as a child trying to hold up a convenience store with nerf guns. It\’s horrendous. There\’s a good chance I\’ll continue watching, simply for the schadenfreude. At this point, there\’s no chance this show develops into anything worthwhile.

Colin Farrell – the lone bright spot in this entire crapstorm.
Vince Vaughn – Somehow the worst. I don\’t know if it\’s because his dialog happens to be the worst (which is pretty astounding in itself) or if he\’s really this terrible. Ugh. I\’m going to say it\’s the writings fault.

My friends and I thought this was the worst episode by far. In fact, many, said they would stop watching following this episode. Just boring and the actors chosen this season don\’t have the gravitas and ability to carry it like those did the first season.

What\’s killing this season, it\’s what kills superhero sequels, too many damn characters. This season, while it doesn\’t suck isn\’t just that great. After three episodes, it\’s probably okay to render that judgement. Doubt they\’ll be a third season of this show. And if there is, stick to the formula that worked in season. Few characters, one director to tackle all episodes. Wish someone like an Andrew Dominik had directed all episodes like previously speculated upon.

The best episode so far this season……..but, that\’s not saying much. Thank you, Katie, for your review. My biggest gripe is that this is still not that "coherent." In other words, you might not be able to follow the storyline if you\’ve had a glass of wine…..or two….and you really should. And, PLEASE, don\’t ever, use WeHo again! Yikes! Major annoying. Other than that, very straight-forward review.

Keep waiting for the loose ends phase to start wrapping up…. Vince Vaughn is awfully thin and cliched as the heavy…no intrigue whatsoever with his "lunacy". Not too interested in Ani either. Or the cop who just "loves" his bike. The one I am interested in is Velcaro….that illegitimate kid has some significance I am assuming…..In all the 2nd episode recovered a total let down from the 1st only to fall again in a far below average 3rd episode. How many freeways can I look at in a town a stones throw from LA with only 95 inhabitants…. just feels corny. AS does Velcaro pooping right up from two buck shot blasts to the torso and no down time whatsoever. Sorry guys just dumb.
