I didn\’t understand that at all. Some of this was hysterical, spot on satirically and goofy as always but it was a good 45 minutes too long and much too random towards the end.

I'll say that much – it was *alright*. But, like "Wake Up Ron Burgundy" (the 'alternate' version of the first Anchorman), which I hated severely the first time I saw it, this version may grow on me over time.

And yes, the 'old man hands' was most likely a joke – and a clever one, because I didn't catch it the first couple shots.
