Yes, not much happens, but when you enjoy the characters as much as I did, not much has to. Sure the film could use some editing (even though it was already edited down from its UK form) but I didn't have a problem with it. Even the ship sinking scene, which had some of the best music moments of the film (A Whiter Shade of Pale, Wouldn't It Be Nice, and Father and Son). I read some reviews which criticized the use of post 1966 music in the film, but I didn't mind it. Nothing was really glaring, as Let's Dance would've been, but I swear I didn't hear it in the version I saw.
