The movie was terrible. Saw it last night with a friend. We both left very disappointed. This review is spot on. A packed theater does not make for a good movie.

Just saw this film at a nearly full theatre, and the audience (mostly young adults, it seemed) really enjoyed the hell out of it, and I did too. A good strong mystery that did what it was supposed to do—-entertain, and it didn't insult the audience's intelligence—plus it had a whopper of a ending. Always wanted to see Elba play a bad guy, and he goes all out as the villain here. I really enjoyed it.

The author noted the issue of race given that a Black man was killing White women. I also noticed that Elba\’s character was not attracted to Henson\’s character AND neither was the (Black) husband. What is the film intending to imply given that an attractive Black woman is passed over for an average-looking White woman by not one but two Black men. When the author mentions unrealistic elements in the film, this is definitely one of them.

Interesting movie. Liked how well all the characters were played. The ending was completely unforseen and a nice shock. Only Mr. Elba could make you almost feel sorry for the character of such a creep. This film had nothing to do with color. Nicely done!

I agree with this critics\’ assessment. My boyfriend and I thought that this movie was just OK. The reason that this movie was #1 @ the box office is because it had no competition. Also, it is the first African-American movie with two high-profile actors to come out in months besides "Get On Up". This movie was predictable, mediocre, and not worthy of two such talented actors/actresses. This movie should have gone straight to DVD.

I saw the movie yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I\’m not one to talk about race but unless black people are playing maids or movies where they\’re blackness is talked about, these critics will try and destroy any movie wig black people in them. Well guess what, audiences love the movie. This movie isn\’t for you critics and they\’re having the last laugh. The movie is number one. Listen up Hollywood, regular people
