Great write-up, Jessica. Describes the film perfectly. I honestly felt that it was simply too short, and that more exposition would have done the overall story (the little that there is) a serious favor. Brevity isn't always a virtue.

Saw this one on premiere night in Denmark and it blew my mind. It was like watching David Lynch direct an Oedipus version of Taxi Driver meets The Shining set in Bangkok. It's one of the most bizzare, challenging and weirdest films I've seen in a mainstream cinema in a long fucking time. If you're a cinephile you've got to watch this one. It'll divide, no doubt about it, but those who'll like it will love it. Peace and love
