Meanwhile, in the Marvel films, a very similar attack happens on a city that actually exists in our world (New York), and the only help that the Avengers offer in their battle is Captain America helping get people off of a bus. By having the team go get lunch at a shawarma place, and then a while later, Tony had some bad dreams. Fans gave the movies a chance to deal with that problem and they\’re still doing so. Man of Steel was the first in a series of films that have yet to release the follow-up and from the trailer, it\’s clear that we\’re going to hear more about the destruction and rebuilding of Metropolis. Give the series a chance to build the story before just blindly accusing it of having no regard for human life. Your bias toward Whedon over Snyder is showing.
