I\'m surprised to see such a positive review from The Playlist. A lot of outlets I feel have wrongfully maligned the movie simply because it isn\'t the same caliber as Jurassic Park. I don\'t understand the complaints of sexism. If you think this movie\'s sexist, I don\'t think you\'ve experienced or even remotely understand what real sexism is.

I counted the word "blockbusters(s)" at least 6 times in this review. I also picked up that "blockbuster-ness" is a criterion that the reviewer felt needed to be satisfied, and was for him. That is an interesting critical attitude.

I agree..... did I see a different movie? B d howard was the WORST PART of Jurassic World. Compared to the first three, it was dull and often boring. The original movies kept you on the edge of your seat with thrills, sprinkled with appropriate humor. And the actors were superb in their parts. Jurassic World is generally a snoozefest with some exciting moments, but hardly worth sitting thru the 2 hours. Howard\'s performance was laughable at best.

What an awful movie. I don’t know where to begin. Only Pratt and Howard could seem to bring the C work script and make it serviceable because of their acting talent. Colin Trevorrow what a hack. The studio never should have given this inexperienced director whose previous picture was half million dollar comedy. He should study Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park and James Cameron’s Aliens to understand how to build tension and direct action. The movie had serious pacing issues and boredom would set in half way through every short and poorly staged action scene. The writing was awful garbage with stupid plot twist after stupid plot twist. The ending was underwhelming and stupid. I pretty sure a T-Rex wouldn’t form an alliance with a raptor and nod after a dinosaur boxing match. Stupid! The Pterodactyl scenes were poorly done ending with a cruel and needless death scene of an innocent and defenseless woman meeting a horrible demise. When I comparing the Pterodactyl scenes to Jurassic Park 3, there is simply no comparison, which is especially bad when comparing them to a movie made in 2001. In fact, every Jurassic Park movie is significantly better than this awful movie. I would rank this far below Jurassic Park 2. Hopefully on the next movie, the studio can hire a better director (I hear he’s not coming back) and better writers who don’t completely suck at constructing actions scenes and writing dialogue.

guess I\'m going to be the first to call a turd, a turd. Jurassic World is for idiots. There isn\'t a single part of the movie that makes sense. I challenge anyone to debate these points.
1) if the Indominus rex could not be seen using thermal imaging, then why would you go to its paddock!
2) What amusement park can you take a ride vehicle off-road? Into the path of danger? Use at your own discretion?
3) Who in their right mind would release a T-rex to kill another dinosaur? First of all, I would be concerned about my safety. Secondly, what if the T-rex doesn\'t fight as planned and begins chomping people. Third, even if everything goes to plan, the T-rex would still be at large to kill more people.
4) Dinosaurs can\'t talk. Do I need to say more? Hey guys, I\'m part raptor. What do you say about killing those humans and roaming free with me?
5) Pteranodons can not pick up people or triceratops, nor can they swim. How do I know? It\'s called physics. The wingspan necessary for lift is a function of weight. Imposserous.
6) if the ankylosaurus can bust the gyrospheres, then the ride vehicles aren\'t safe at all. The fact that some dinosaurs are herbivores doesn\'t preclude them from smashing or throttling the gyrospheres.
7) Animals cannot remove tracking devices. How could that have possibly happened?
8) How come the I-rex was not on the thermal scanner? Did it know humans were using thermal scanners to detect its presence at that moment and decided to cool itself?
9) Why is Claire crying over the Apatosaurus? It made sense for Ellie to cry. She had been researching dinosaurs for a career. She had an affinity for them. Claire did not even care when people were getting killed.
10) Were the Raptors trained like bloodhounds for hunting? If so, when did this happen? They tried to eat the bozo in the vest when he rescued his co-worker, so it seems doubtful that the raptors have spent any time outside of their paddocks.
11) If attendance spikes after each new attraction, what was the need to create the uber dinosaur? Wouldn\'t it be a hard act to follow? Moreover, if you were going to create things that are not dinosaurs because it\'s cool, then why not create a dragon or unicorns.
12) For what reason would you militarize dinosaurs? This is the stuff of which B-movies are made.
I could go on for days about how bad this movie was. I did not even cover the flat characters, the complete lack of suspense, sexism, the muscular macho scientists, or private Pyle. These critics are just studio stooges.
