Prometheus was actually a pretty good film. Except for a few minor flaws and the fact that they felt obligated to add that Xenomorph at the end. It was thought provoking; raised a few interesting questions without pretentiously providing definitive answers to them.

@Dave – Hanna was excellent. Wright has made some really great films – including the aforementioned Hanna. I still consider Atonement to be one of the best film adaptations in recent history. The Dunkirk scene is haunting. Also, I felt Anna Karenina was experimental in the best way possible. I loved everything about it. But Pan looks and sounds horrible. I guess every great director has at least one, big flop.
