Judging by the trailers, the movie is NOTHING like the games, which are all about stealth and finding the best and most creative way to only execute the target without causing a stir or even being seen.

I\’ll give you that, and I know your thoughts on the movie are pretty in line with others who frequent this blog. People always blast Jaugernauth for his reviews of these type of flicks and I don\’t think that\’s particularly fair either – it just seems strange that the staff would go through the effort to review movies that seem categorically outside the realm of your preferential tastes.

Oddly, I\’m one of the more lenient reviewers out there, and I believe in judging a film on the scale of what it aims for, rather than stacking "Hitman: Agent 47" against "Citizen Kane" or even "Die Hard." That said, even if you\’re a video game adaptation, you can\’t get by with uninvolving characters, laughably bad dialogue, and a overly messy plot without giving me at least a few legitimately awesome fight scenes and car chases.

i agree. i can tell what the grade is by looking at the reviewer\’s name. these dorks hate pretty much everything. that being said, this looks like ass.

Why do you guys even bother to review movies like this if it\’s always the same regurgitated diatribe that these aren\’t all Terrence Malick movies? You\’re essentially just as guilty for putting out the same material as the movies you continually trash. And though I\’m frequently in agreement with your assessments it does seem pretty hypocritical.
