It's a good movie but don't expect a movie that has anything to do with the other two – except in a very brief and generally irrelevant way. But it's just as good in it's own way -particularly after a second viewing(it worked for me). Some of the references to the current U.S MIC are very well portrayed i.e very dark and frightening….some are less impressive. But a much better movie than some of these awful reviews, if not quite giving the adrenaline pumping action that made the first Bourne movie such a huge success..

How necessary is prior knowledge of the previous Bourne movies? Havent seen them in a while and want to know if I should revisit them before seeing this one.

It's only 7 reviews in on RT, but I'm surprised it's sitting at rotten already. That can't bode well for early world of mouth. But then again the average movie-goer doesn't check RT I suppose…
