Nice review. This is Korine's directorial debut. It's his first film, I have to say that he's never made a film before in his life, because no one has bothered to watch his overly eccentric nonsense. His films before have been nothing but gallery type nonsense. This is a film people may actually go watch because it's accessible, has it's fair share of artistic moments and most importantly has a STORY. But I hope that whatever he does next it's also a great story like this, maybe he can take a historical picture or another crime film. Something proper like this. It's time filmmakers start making important films and not pretentious ones. At least Korine has finally realised that he's now a grown man and that it's time to make proper films.
