Did the writer of this piece really call Paul Giamatti "the only real thespian of the cast?" Apparently this guy did no research prior to this review. Corey Hawkins, the guy who played Dr. Dre, is Julliard trained. So, next time, do the first thing they teach you in journalism school, fact check.

You understand that it\'s hard to match the accomplishments of Dre and Cube when Eazy only lived for a few years after the breakup, right?

In that time, he released an album that went double platinum, continued as CEO of his label, was in the process of putting together an NWA reunion, and yes, discovered Bone Thugs, who are one of the most popular and unique hip hop groups of all time.

You make it sound as if the dude went on to do nothing after Dre left. This is a narrative that\'s been pushed a lot and it is total nonsense. As is the suspiciously vague "Eazy robbed Dre and Cube" narrative, which really just means "We don\'t understand how business works and hate that the owner of the company makes more than the artists." I\'d love to hear about a company where an employee makes more than the employer. They were better artists. But it was Eazy\'s money that made Ruthless, and that means he reaps more of the rewards because it\'s his investment.

Easy E died of AIDS. That\'s why his career isn\'t as huge as Ice or Dre. It\'s disingenuous to suggest that he is a lesser artist without acknowledging that his career was hampered by his illness and subsequent death.
