I completely disagree with this harsh review. This movie is as cute as can be! I love the animation style- in fact, would love to have that style used for illustrating a children\’s book I have in the wings. The story is cute, there\’s drama, mystery, humor, and a very appropriate story line for the age range for which it was intended. Does this reviewer actually think that this was a movie made for adults?? This is a super entertaining movie for children, has a good moral to the story, and ends on a happy note. What more could a parent ask of a kids\’ film?

While I\’ll fully admit this is no Shrek, the movie was an awesome childrens movie and had some good messages for children in it. Furthermore, at times Shrek really wasnt a great childrens movie because at times they pushed the edginess just a little too far to me. I agree with some of the other comments… It\’s cartoon childrens sci fi, dude…. not "War of the Worlds"…. lighten up.

I think this guys needs to re watch the movie.. Or needs to be fired cya he obviously donlesnt know what hesntalking about.. Maybe he has something against Rihanna or something. But this was a great animation..Not that anybody cares what he says anyways but he should really shut up!!!

I took my 6 year old to see it and we both enjoyed it. I don\’t think it was an animated masterpiece, but I liked it over all. Yes, many of the plot points aren\’t realistic but most animated movies are silly in that respect. Fiona from Shrek sang and blew up a bird, Cinderella rode in a pumpkin, Oh made a car fly with a slushy machine. It\’s goofy and silly and FICTION. 🙂

Typical anti-DWA bias from this dude. Movie was no where near as \’end of the world terrible\’ as this dude makes it out to be. I personally enjoyed myself and thought itt was their best original since The Croods.

It must absolutely kill you to the core that this movie broke out this weekend. \’They are doomed\’ indeed.

Is it because someone bladck has a main voice in the film that you trashed it this much? It\’s animation, fantasy like most animations for kids. You are taking a really realistic approach to something that\’s of comic book kid\’s book friendly nature. I don\’t see you trashing "Cinderella". HMMMMM!!!Wonder why? I did note Steve Martin got a pass. lucky him.
