Drew – "Dad" bears have no part in raising cubs, bears aren't monogamous, don't mate for life etc. Also, the Katmai is far removed from pipelines etc. – the threat to that area of Alaska was the Pebble Mine in the Bristol Bay watershed and since Rio Tinto pulled out, that just leaves Northern Dynasty trying to promote that particular travesty.
