While "Brokeback Mountain" will stand as the film remembered from the same year , "Crash" was an equally thought-provoking, emotionally powerful film in its own way. That said, with all the "Crash" comparisons in this review, I'm intrigued and will likely try to catch a "Disconnect" screening.
