I disagree about Celine getting the short shrift in the argument scene. As hysterical as Celine might have seemed at times (I never thought she seemed like that, though a lot of people have said otherwise), Jesse didn't exactly respond to her complaints in the most comforting manner. I thought they both came off as understandable, if not sympathetic, and I couldn't really pass judgment on them. It helped that Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy have such great chemistry.

Great review, only I'm not sure why it calls the film "trilogy-concluding". Linklater, Hawke and Delpy have all said they're open to revisiting the characters again in 9 years. There has certainly been no suggestion from them that this film is the last one.
