They could have found a better lead for that role. JLD seems so out of her league in this type of show. She was better in Seinfeld and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Iannucci's "In the Thick of It" is brilliant and it will be hard to measure up to a show of that caliber – caliber both in writing and acting.

Veep has been green lighted for another season and hopefully it will be funnier than the first. If not, it will get the axe by HBO.
