@ Yvette, Most of the reviews did not pan it, but they are not impressed by the movie either. Angelina Jolie has been hypinging this movie as a Oscar contendor for 2 years straight. She got on her high horses and even try to put slander against the Imitation Game and other hopeful Oscar conetndor, who are doing well without a multi-million dollar Oscar campaign in advance. Unbroken was even called a misleading Oscar hopeful by some critics. Its not gonna dominate the Oscars, and Angelina will certainly not be getting that Best Director Oscar she badly wanted. How can she be an Oscar winning Director when she has only done 2 movie? One of them being awful and the other being mediocre? You need to be at the craft for a long time to even get recognition. She isn\’t Ben Affleck or Clint Eastwood, who have proven to be successful actor-turned-director.

This movie is not bad by any means, but it is not great either. Funny, I know how much you brangloonies hate Jen Anisotn and always in glee every time she gets a negative review. Funny, I haven\’t read any Oscar hype from Angelina Jolie this past year. In fact, until November 2014 "Maleficent" was the Angelina Jolie talk about town. And I\’ve only seen what would be considered \’1\’ major critic pan the film (Variety) and even then it wasn\’t all out hate.

This movie is TRUE, it\’s not "based o a true story", which basically means the writers and Director take incidents and make then exciting for movie goers, Angie stressed that she was not doing this. Louie actually saw scenes as they were shot to make sure they were authentic, this was long before he was taken ill. Why do critics want the writers and Director to LIE, just so you can get some weird thrill, that makes no sense. As for Louie\’s hair, that as one of the things he told Jack that HAD to be perfect, Louie was obviously very vain about his hair when he was young. This will be a great film, and no one will have to wonder if the writers and Director tool liberties with the story to "juice" it up for the camera, this I what happened. Critics are ridiculous, they are conditioned to LIES about movies that are supposedly real, well, don\’t worry, this is the real thing.

Good review. One thing though I don\’t think Zamperini flew in a B52 (“Unbroken” starts out promisingly; Zamperini and his B52 battalion drop ). Those planes weren\’t active until 10 years after WWII ended.

So this film didn\’t live up to its hype then? Almost all of the major critcs are saying Angelina Jolie didn\’t do a fantastic job of directing, and that other then Jack O Connell and AHS Finn Wiitrock, the other supporting stars weren\’t a standout, including Miyavi, who some said can\’t even act. So much for the so-called \’buzz\’ Unbroken PR team created. Looks like Angelina Jolie won\’t be getting that Best Director Oscar she had her eye on all year long.

So the sharks look fake. I figured. Sounds underwhelming. So much for bloggers who have sucked up to Angelina Jolie for the better part of a year without even having seen this movie.

Why are your reviews spoiler filled? You basically gave away everything in this. You\’re supposed to let us know if a film is good or not, not ruin the whole thing worst than most movie trailers.
