Oh, what a crock of crap! No of the facts about businesses or "trickle down" need a damn. If you have ever worked for a "social service" organization, you would know that there is so much fraud it is unreal, but the government really doesn\’t care. I would rather see those like the working poor be able to get more services. The way TANF and cash assistance works now is that once you get a job, all of your services are reduced, so you are no better off. There is no incentive for those on welfare to become independent or learn a skill! Quit giving them subsidies for LIFE and there might be a way to change the system! Those who are working, should be able to keep services at a status quo for a period of time to be able to save and get ahead! Until the damn government quits handing out $ like candy and is serious about getting people back to work, nothing will change. My theory is, they want Americans to depend on the government so they can control every aspect of our lives! This is socialist propaganda and nothing more!

The minimum wage adjusted for inflation in the 1960's was around $18!!!
The bailouts of 2007 and 2008 benefited the same companies that heavily lobby the government. Give the taxpayers back our money!

Wall street has doubled its money between 2008 and 2014 and is not taxed at all! While the workers who are struggling to feed families and get medical care are taxed on basic necessities.

This part is the EXACT REASON why you should NOT make the government in charge of caring for people:

Obama has 50 MILLION people on disability, 10 MILLION on disability, and countless other "victim classes" of people who waller in self-pity. Governor Rick Scot of Florida signed a law requiring DRUG-TESTING in order to get freebies from taxpayers but a liberal judge ruled it unfair because it discriminates against people who do drugs (although the judicial opinion gave a less direct, much lengthier wall of text essentially saying the same thing)!

American Winter echoes the book by David K Shipler from several years back called "The Working Poor" and shows how quickly the rug gets pulled out from under families when there is no ability to earn a living wage. As the venture capitalist interviewed in the film points out, the theory that keeping the rich richer, will in turn create good jobs for the middle class, is just a pipe dream in today's America. The fact that you can't shame them into maintaining the social safety nets either shows how far we have fallen.
