Packed theater where I saw this movie laughed it heads off at 98% of rapid-fire sight gags and jokes. Box office reads A Haunted House as an $18 million hit that more than made back its box office. Think you missed something, baby.

This is one of the worst reviews I've read on this site. The first paragraph was so pointless and out of place I had to check I had gone to the right page before continuing. The second wasn't much better. Someone really should have taken a step back and reconsidered this piece before putting it up.

"you canât parody something and also try to emulate it as well." Seems to me you can. Look at "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz". I would argue those films do both, and very well. Obviously a different pedigree of film making, but still…
