I had many problems with this movie. The number one being is they did not fully explain the story or the character of Jackie Robinson. Now, I am a baseball history buff, and this is a great story but the movie glanced over a lot of the complexities surrounding everyone involved. If the film makers would have incorporated these facts and, the movie would have been great!

Your about spot on in the case of Beharie, if she had been white she would probably have her own movie franchise by now. Its a shame to see such talented actors shoehorned into one-dimensional roles but hopefully the film is a star-making vehicle for both Boseman and Beharie and tht they can go on to bigger and better.

This is good to hear; I was pretty excited for this but the lack of reviews definitely gave me pause.
