Cookie cutter superhero movies/TV shows are better than the cookie cutter action movies of the past IMHO. Think about all the crap action movies that came out in the 80s and 90s, with a few gems here and there. At least with Marvel, you have cool CGI even in the bad films.

\’tis true — these marvel projects, in all honesty, are average at best. genuinely they\’re lacking in filmmaking aplomb, solid acting, or loving craftsmanship.

Do any of these movies feature truly brilliant performances? Are any of the set-pieces crafted with the genius of Spielberg in his prime? Come now… the answer is no. It\’s all PR hype and grown adults are being swindled by it.

Nowadays, the ideal consumer is someone with the mind of a child and the finances of an adult. They\’re turning us all into wee desperate brats, I fear.

Okay, Ghost Rider is just a bad idea, but I do agree with The Punisher and Blade. Even better would be a Moon Knight series, but best of all would be a "Dark" Avengers who deal with the supernatural.

I agree with Doris on this one point, hearing about the arguments and the "How this can never happen", it sometimes sounds like Jerry Springer for the Marvel. I like to read what may happen, will happen, I love the idea of Punisher on Netflix crossover with Daredevil OH I WOULD JUST DIE FOR LOVE OF THAT, but I do not want to hear all the gossip of why it won\’t happen, Just make it happen. 🙂

Their was also news about an Agents of Shield spinoff. Also another rumor out there is a Moon Knight show, possibly Elektra could also get a spinoff after she appears in Daredevil.
