Well, why not? Man of Steel was horrible, but so was Superman Returns, and neither time was it a problem with the actors playing Kal-El. Daredevil sucked, but it wan't really due to casting, Affleck can probably give decent Batman. I don't know this Gal chick, but whomever was cast as WW would be harshly judged. So, my initial reaction was "blergh," but my second was "doesn't matter–if the script sucks and the direction sucks, nothing about how totally miscast this dude is can possibly worsen the outcome!"
