You fail to mention that each character who lost someone in this episode actually wished them to be gone at some point before they vanished. The mother wished her crying baby in the car was gone; Nora her family, and Laura the baby she is about to bring into a failing marriage. Perhaps this is why the guilty remnant exists — they cannot overcome their guilt for wishing their loved ones vanished before they did.

Also doubtful that was the last words spoken by Kevin to Laurie..As Patti clearly wasn't in her GR form earlier in the episode, I would argue that its unlikely the gr was formed by the end of the day with Laurie taking her vow of silence..Maybe you meant the last words before the departure?

I can't even count the number of inadequacies in this review but maybe you should watch all of the previous episodes before doing your next one, because you clearly either didn't see them or you didn't pay attention/understand..just to point out..We've known about Tom's dad for a few episodes, whether Nora got the job was not explained, it was not Kevin Sr.'s birthday, but his "man of the year" party..no reason we would think Kevin is having an affair prior to his hotel encounter..Matt's medical history was no mystery, we learned that at the beginning of episode 3.. There's surely more but you get the point..

Surprising? Were your eyes on leave when Meg and Laurie showed up to serve Kevin the divorce papers? The fact that Tom wasn't Kevin's son was in Laurie's letter. We've known for at least a couple of episodes.
