I loved your comment about building a picture of some one before you really know them. A lot of my coworkers at Dish have been talking about Louie, but no one has touched on this subject. The first part of the episode was about being prejudice. Unfortunately that word always leaves a negative connotation in my mind so I never thought about unfairly judging some one positively. I didn’t catch it the first time but after I watched both parts together on my Dish Remote Access app I definitely have a better picture of what C.K. is trying to show everyone. I actually caught a few jokes a missed the first time too. Everyone is looking for some one that is absolutely gorgeous and that likes you for you, but what Louie did not take into consideration is that he must also like her for who she is.

Parker Posey delivers the best acting on tv of anything I've seen this year. She has to be recognized. She created an entire character -- highlighted by the two silent moments you pointed out -- in a way that would normally take a few episodes. Lovely writing by Louis CK and an amazing performance by Parker. I hope she has at least one more episode this year. I'm surprised by how touching this season of Louie has been (in a great way; it's moved from comedy to mood pieces with some introspection and laughs). It's all like an extension of The Duckling episodes. Maybe that space and scope of that story softened Louis a little bit, or at least provided him long form material to ease into the situations of this year. Apart from the great Melissa Leo appearance, season three has been less episodic and exists more in pauses and the things unsaid. To end my praise: it's amazing to see a comedian transform and stretch. Bravo.
