One thing I feel is worth pointing out: you write, "But Dunham comes to the defense of the site…", when in fact the one coming to Gawker's defense is Hannah, the character. In my view, the point of the scene is that sites like Gawker and Jezebel possess *both* the good *and* bad traits that Hannah and Adam attribute to them during their argument.
