I wouldn't exactly label Shae "gorgeous" although she's far from unattractive. Also, I don't think the arrows had little effect on Jon Snow. He seemed to be having a hard time with his shoulder while putting on his shirt and had a small limp while walking out of his meeting with his superiors.
