A true original and a great talent. Uncle Monty always comes up as one of the most quotable characters of all time, due largely in part to Mr. Griffiths.

I am saddened by this news. In big films, Griffiths managed to do a lot with a little, whilst he also managed to shine in smaller films like 'The History Boys' and 'Venus'. Nice quote, too.
