The industry is heavily focused on blockbuster right now.The majority of which are not good movies. The movie audience has yet to realize that star power has less influence over movies now adays. Its the studios pushing a mediocre product.

If I could contact Mary-Louise Parker, I would tell her that she is absolutely right. You go to Rotten Tomatoes and it's practically become a tweeting forum who can be the most scathing and mean at the same time. I barely call it criticism anymore. And from what I remember in film school, constructive criticism was the way to go. Not "Don't ever make a movie again! In fact, go kill yourself!" I would also tell her that though I was not a fan of Weeds or Reds, she was the best part about both and I know enough that if you don't have anything nice to say…
