This sick fascination with the psychotic Manson who prompted the butchering of a pregnant woman among others is unbelievable. Not that I’m surprised as Tarantino’s movies are full of gratuitous violence.

Tarantino has previously managed the magic $375 million mark with an original property that had no built in audience other than his own fan base. Combine his brand with the most notorious crime spree in modern history and you probably have as safe of a bet as is possible on a non-sequel.

As long as the critics don’t turn on Tarantino, Sony should be golden.
