Outside of the controversial language and subject matter , DJANGO was the film that showed Tarantinos teenage pulp fantasys have its limits and likely his worst film to date. From the unfocused narrative along with the awkward edits to the odd musical cues, it was a half baked idea that would've certainly been his downfall if not for coming after INGLORIOUS BASTERDS. For me to test the DJANGO waters again I'd have to be experiencing a whole new film ala BLADE RUNNER:DEFINITIVE CUT., not just two minute splices.

i wasn't too keen on Django Unchained, didn't think the highs matched any of his previous films besides Death Proof, which i happened to enjoy more, and most of it simply bored me. the KKK scene was pedestrian Tarantino. i'd give a 4 part Django a view to see if it works better in mini-series format.

however, i did enjoy reading The Hateful Eight screenplay, except the "dingus" part, which was simply stupid, and hopes he makes that one next.
