well thats intriguing! eva larsson should have the final sentiment here, i think.
tarantino could perhaps make a feisty, dark and cool film, but my concern is that he totally would forget stiegs deeply felt feminist activism and give lisbet salander an oversexual role with his complete fetischism for sex, women and violence, and totally ditch the point and stiegs ideas. dunno if i will give him that trust.

Concerning Tarantino, Pitt and the Millennium trilogy.
I would like to point out that the following statement about the Larsson Family – Gabrielsson controversy is a misunderstanding of the facts. Quote: “The Larsson family have gone as far as offering her a Stockholm flat for the laptop which was obviously denied.” The ‘going as far as offering’ was merely finally giving up their cruel campaign of keeping her in state of suspense and insecurity for a couple of years about her right to keep the flat that she and Stieg had bought together and lived in, and which she fully expected to continue to live in, by using the fact of their ‘legal’ right to also inherit Stieg’s half of the flat to pressure her into giving up the laptop. To whit, no real generosity on their part, simply finally giving up what to my mind was a thoroughly immoral venture.
