I cannot understand how articles like this get written.

1) Nothing Jeremy says contradicts what Paul says.
2) Why would you be more than happy to see the same extras from the dvd on the blu ray that you would pay more for?

That Punch-Drunk Love DVD set may have been two discs, but there was certainly nothing resembling a "bounty of extras" on it.

I'd argue that the finished product is not "quite there" script-wise either. I think Phoenix came in after Renner and developed a fascinating enough character that PTA was satisfied enough to ignore the problems with the story and make it a think piece on two fascinating characters.
